Vladimír Haberland

I trained as an electrician, studied at ČVUT (Czech Technical University in Prague), and spent several years installing large-format lighting installations for Lasvit around the world. That combination — craftsmanship, engineering instinct, and field experience on demanding projects — is why retrofits are the work I want to be doing. You can't approach a smart-home retrofit with a template; every home and every client is different, and I want to think it through myself.

I specialise strictly in Shelly hardware and Home Assistant — an open stack that runs in your home (no cloud), that you can maintain yourself if you ever need to, and that never locks you into one vendor. Where it makes sense, I add Matter or Zigbee devices, but the backbone stays Home Assistant.
